An eToro Crypto Signals group showed me fake profits and then added withdrawal fees

I was pulled into a Telegram investment scheme using the name eToro Crypto Signals.

The group acted like investment advisors and had me send USDT on TRC20. At first, the setup followed the familiar trust-building pattern: small successful withdrawals, then a much larger displayed balance that looked like real profit.

When I tried to access the larger amount, the fees started. The source described a fake 20,000 balance and a manipulated on-chain interface using a Tenderly virtual RPC node, which made the platform look more technical and believable than it really was.
