SmartXploreTrades demanded $2,500 before releasing my displayed profits

I was 17 when someone contacted me through Telegram and introduced smartxploretrades.com as an easy way to earn money without understanding trading.

I deposited $500 and quickly saw profits appear. The platform then required me to purchase trading signals and upgrade my account. When the displayed balance reached approximately $49,000, I attempted to withdraw it.

Support demanded a one-time fee equal to 5% of the withdrawal, roughly $2,500. I had already started saving for the fee before realizing that sending more money would probably produce another payment demand.
