Omega Smart was a name I verified before considering any offer

I would not treat an approach under the Omega Smart name as verified just because it uses a financial-looking domain. The FCA Warning List is a reason to stop and independently check who is behind an offer.

The FCA added Omega Smart / omega-smart.net to its Warning List on 3 August 2026. The FCA says it is concerned that listed firms may be working without permission.

The warning does not establish a specific payment or loss, but it does establish a protection risk: the FCA says customers of unauthorised firms cannot use the Financial Ombudsman Service and are not protected by the FSCS if the firm fails.
