I am putting this out because Vault Ethereum used the exact kind of trick that can catch someone who is new to crypto.
A person contacted me online and claimed they were sending 777 USDT. They walked me through MetaMask and kept pushing me toward vaultethereum.us like it was the normal place to cash out. The balance appeared on screen, so for a moment I thought the transfer was real.
The moment I tried to withdraw, the site demanded $131 in ETH to verify the wallet. That was the point where the whole setup became obvious. A real wallet or exchange does not require a fresh payment just to unlock money that supposedly already belongs to you.
