I met someone through social media who explained an online crypto business and guided me through trading on the BitX Trading site. We traded through the site for more than five months.
When I finally tried to withdraw, I could not access my money. I reported losing more than $40,000 through this arrangement. I need help finding out whether there is any way to recover funds, and I hope this warns others not to rely on a trading platform introduced by a social-media contact.
