Wallet drained after connecting to what I thought was a legitimate airdrop

I got a DM on Discord from what looked like the official account for a project I was already in. They said there was a surprise airdrop and I needed to connect my MetaMask to claim it. The link looked similar to the real project URL — one letter different, I didn't catch it at the time.

I connected and approved the transaction without reading it properly. Within about 40 seconds my ETH and two other tokens were gone. Everything. I went straight to Etherscan and could see the transfer — all swept to one wallet in one transaction.

Total loss around $2,100. Not huge compared to what I've seen others lose, but it's real money and it's gone. The site was claimwallet-rewards.io if anyone sees this — do not connect anything to it. Use Revoke.cash to check your wallet approvals, even if nothing's happened yet, because you might have approved something without realising.
