A Reddit report described Bluerock Wealth as posing as professional crypto investment advisors and targeting an elderly family member. The operation allegedly used a fake trading platform and remote desktop access while promising passive income through crypto investing.
The reported loss was $650,000 in retirement savings. The r/Scams post was published on April 29, 2026. This is exactly why no family member should allow unknown investment advisors remote access or crypto platform control.
