Nexanuity showed my balance but would not process the withdrawal after a copy-trading pitch

I joined what I believed was a copy-trading operation after receiving a direct message from an account impersonating the person behind an investing Discord server. The account was only one character different from the real profile.

I was directed to Nexanuity and lost $5,000. The site still displayed a balance, but it would not process attempts to withdraw the original money and did not respond to emails.

A balance on a website means very little if the operator will not release funds. Be cautious of unsolicited copy-trading invitations and check every profile character before trusting a direct message.

If you were a victim of this company, I believe you should should report it, but most Cybercrime authorities and law enforcement will only log a complaint, at best build a case against that company and most people would rather not deal with LE. With most of these fake companies you should use a professional recovery service, they are faster and you're sure to get your money back. Write me if you need a referral for the one that helped me.
