Mexopro pushed my grandfather from Bitcoin buying into leveraged USDT futures

I am logging this warning after a Reddit report described an older victim being targeted through m.mexopro.com.

The approach started with a crypto investment contact who claimed family ties to investment brokerage experience. After the victim bought a small amount of Bitcoin, the contact pushed harder, steering him toward BTC futures trading using USDT through the Mexopro mobile site.

A June 2026 r/Scams report described this as a complex crypto scam targeting a grandfather. Any stranger pushing an older relative from simple crypto purchases into futures trading on an unknown mobile domain should be treated as an immediate emergency.
