A woman contacted me unexpectedly on WhatsApp and began with ordinary conversations about cryptocurrency and current events. After building familiarity, she said that she traded binary options and offered to guide me through the process.
She directed me to a platform called Nexovate through an H5 mobile-browser interface. She encouraged me to begin with a deposit of only $100 and repeatedly reassured me that she would personally show me how to trade.
Before transferring anything, I tried to verify the platform. I could not find credible regulatory information, an identifiable operating team, a listing on a major exchange aggregator or an established body of independent reviews. The mobile web interface also did not provide the transparency I would expect from a financial service.
I refused to deposit and did not lose money. The combination of unsolicited WhatsApp contact, gradual relationship building, binary-crypto trading claims and personal instructions to fund an obscure platform made this a near miss rather than an investment opportunity.
