I was contacted on Telegram by someone promoting TradeWithInsider. I was told that a $200 investment could become about $3,500 after 48 hours of trading, so I sent 190.89 USDT from Binance.
Afterward, I was instructed to install Trust Wallet to receive the supposed profit. The people involved then repeatedly asked for my 12-word recovery phrase, claiming it was needed to continue.
No legitimate investment or wallet service needs a recovery phrase. I am reporting this because the promise of quick trading profit was used to push me toward giving up control of a wallet.
