Iron View Financial used a hardship loan preapproval to pressure me into calling back

I received a call claiming to be from Iron View Financial about a hardship personal loan.

The message said my TransUnion and Equifax file came back preapproved for more than $41,000 with no hard credit check and same-day funding. It also pushed a deadline, saying the preapproval window would close the next day.

The pressure and the loan amount were the warning signs. It sounded designed to make me call back quickly before checking whether the company or offer was real.
