The Smart-ISA name suggests a familiar savings or investment product, but a familiar-sounding label is not enough to establish that a provider is authorised. I would check the firm before engaging with any offer presented under this name.
The FCA added Smart-ISA to its Warning List on 3 August 2026. A Warning List entry means the FCA is concerned that the named firm or individual is working without its permission.
The FCA says customers who deal with an unauthorised firm do not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and are not protected by the FSCS if the firm fails. I would not send funds or personal documents until the provider is independently confirmed.
