Stolen crypto was traced to a wallet believed to belong to HitBTC

My cryptocurrency was stolen, and blockchain analysis traced it through an intermediary wallet to an address believed to belong to HitBTC. I understand that tracing a route on-chain is not the same as recovering the funds, but it gave me a possible exchange contact point.

I have already filed an FBI IC3 report and a police report, and a detective is working on the case. I now need to know whether HitBTC has a process for responding to law-enforcement requests involving traced stolen assets.

I am seeking firsthand experiences from people who have had an exchange cooperate in a similar situation, especially where there was a police report and transaction tracing available.
