FXTF charged me a swap cost I did not expect on my position

I held a position and later saw a swap-related cost that I did not expect. The charge affected my account more than I had planned for, and I could not immediately understand how it had been calculated or whether the rate applied matched the published conditions.

Before holding positions overnight, check the instrument-specific swap rules and save the published rates. If a charge looks wrong, document the trade ticket, opening time, closing time, position size, and the calculation shown in the account before asking for a review.
