The representative eventually instructed me to enter my recovery phrase into a verification form so they could repair the issue.
I've used crypto long enough to know that's something legitimate providers specifically tell users never to do.
The moment I refused, the conversation became hostile and the representative insisted there was no other solution.
I ended the chat immediately. Maybe this helps someone avoid making a costly mistake.
