Loopwex displayed a fake $2,500 Elon Musk bonus that I could not safely withdraw

I received a promotion claiming that Elon Musk was giving away cryptocurrency through Loopwex. I created an account to see what would happen, and the platform immediately displayed a $2,500 bonus.

The balance appeared real inside the account, but I could not verify that the promotion had any connection to Elon Musk or that Loopwex held actual funds.

I became concerned that attempting to withdraw would trigger an activation fee, deposit requirement or tax demand. I stopped before sending money because a number displayed inside a new account is not proof that withdrawable assets exist.
