Main Report
I was approached about a Strategic Advisor role by people claiming to represent Metazero Capital. The first call seemed professional but was audio-only because the caller said their camera was broken. Before a second call, I was asked to install Trilium v0.103.0 to access a workspace for a live test.
I refused to install the software on my corporate device because that version had known security vulnerabilities. I offered alternatives such as browser access, screen sharing, or a PDF, but the people involved continued pushing the installation. Soon afterward, the Telegram group disappeared.
I cannot establish whether Metazero Capital itself was involved or whether real identities were being impersonated. I am sharing the recruitment pattern as a warning: do not install externally supplied software to complete a crypto-sector job interview.
