Orx.one pushed me to pay recovery fees after claiming it could restore my old wallet

I was contacted about recovering a suspended Bybit wallet from 2022. The recovery process involved WhatsApp screen sharing, new exchange and wallet accounts, and a claim that my old wallets held a substantial balance.

I paid a 12% fee of $19,977 to restore and reactivate the wallets. I was then asked for another 16%, or $27,963.36, before the funds could supposedly be authorised for withdrawal.

I stopped because the escalating upfront fees frightened me. Anyone approached about crypto recovery should be extremely cautious when each promised release requires another payment.
