I used cryptOgeon.com to send an encrypted note containing my Ethereum address. The address I entered was not the address received by the recipient.
The site silently substituted a different crypto address, creating a serious risk that a payment could be sent to someone else. This is not a harmless display issue when the content is meant to direct a crypto transfer.
Always compare wallet addresses through a separate trusted channel before sending funds. Do not rely on an encrypted-note service as the sole source for a payment address.
