Fomopeek was installed on my phone before my OKX wallet lost about $180,000

I downloaded an iOS app called Fomopeek for product research. I did not connect a wallet, log in to the app, disclose my seed phrase, or share a private key.

A few days later, I checked my OKX wallet and found it drained. Staked positions had also been unstaked and drained, with the overall loss around $180,000. The Fomopeek app had already been removed from the App Store.

I had spent years being cautious about wallet connections, so this incident was especially alarming. Do not assume an app is safe simply because it was available through an app store.
