I was asked to pay at least $100 to claim a fake Prizewild giveaway

I was led to Prizewild after an account posing as social-media influencer Steve Will Doit liked and tagged my YouTube comment. The message said I had been selected to win $5,000.

The site initially looked legitimate and asked for my name, email address, and either card or crypto-account information. It then required a so-called verification payment of at least $100. After researching the operation, I became concerned about the use of look-alike domains and claimed corporate affiliations. I am reporting this so that other people do not send a verification payment to collect a prize that may not exist.
