Main Report
My problems with CWG Markets started after the broker restricted my account and removed $826.76 in profits, claiming that I had engaged in abnormal trading during a low-liquidity period. I asked them to identify the affected trades and provide the technical records behind that accusation, but I did not receive the evidence I requested.
I had originally deposited $1,000, leaving a total of $1,826.76 in dispute. After several emails, compliance sent me a questionnaire asking about my residence and the reasoning behind my trading decisions. I completed it immediately and expected the review to move forward.
Instead, my access to the client portal was blocked. I could no longer inspect the account or request the return of my original deposit. I understand that a broker may investigate unusual activity, but completely locking me out while both my principal and disputed profits remain inside is not an acceptable resolution. I would be extremely cautious about funding cwgmarkets.com until its withdrawal and compliance procedures are explained clearly.
