I was approached on WhatsApp by someone using the name Louise and claiming to work for Kraken. I was added to a group with more than 100 people, where members were encouraged to put USDT into a DeFi liquidity-mining pool through Trust Wallet.

The organizer provided step-by-step instructions and asked for screenshots while the wallet and pool were being set up. The offer promised daily returns between 1% and 7%, and early interest payments were presented as proof that the system worked. The claimed Kraken connection and the crowded group made it look organized.

I learned that real exchange employees do not contact people this way to recruit them into secret pools. The group administrators used international phone numbers, and the pattern described in the group ended with the pool taking the USDT after trust had been established. I warned the other members, although many did not believe me.

This report uses a descriptive slug because the original post did not identify one stable pool domain. It is not an allegation that Trust Wallet itself operated the scheme. The warning concerns impersonation, WhatsApp recruitment, screenshot coaching, extreme daily returns, and wallet-connected DApps.
