I invested around 20,000 USDC in MetaWealth through its web application after seeing a public team, incorporation information, investor updates, and apparent Solana promotion.
My account was later deleted. After I threatened legal action through GDPR, I was told that my funds had never reached the fundraiser wallet and that my principal would be refunded in five to ten business days. That deadline passed and I received no further response.
Do not assume a doxxed team, legal incorporation, or polished investor communications guarantees that your investment can be recovered. I would not download the app or deposit into MetaWealth again.
