Before depositing, I tried to understand who supervised the broker and what would protect my money if there was a dispute. I could not find a clear answer that gave me confidence in the platform's regulation, operating details, or recovery process.

I would not rely on a broker's website alone when the legal entity and licence information are difficult to verify. Check the official regulator register, confirm the exact company behind the domain, and make sure the account you open is actually covered by the protection being advertised.
