I put money into AKEDO and spent months playing its games and collecting points because the project said those points would be exchangeable for tokens. The AKE token had launched through KuCoin Spotlight and appeared on major exchanges, so I assumed the rewards program would be handled properly.

When the redemption terms arrived, the minimum was set at 330,000 points. Most participants, including me, were nowhere close to that figure. Around 30,000 points per account were also frozen, and previously promised free node allocations appeared to disappear. The token was still trading, which made the change feel especially unfair.

I then tried to verify the company claims. AKEDO press material described a 2024 founding and a base in Zug, Switzerland, but I could not find an Akedo company in the Swiss commercial register. I also found that the website pages for terms, privacy, and imprint were returning 404 errors. The domain registration was hidden and used Alibaba Cloud in China, which did not match the Switzerland presentation.

I am sharing this because a polished launch, investor claims, and exchange listings can make a project look checked when ordinary users may still be left with changing rules and unrewarded participation. Anyone considering AKEDO should independently verify the entity, the token-reward terms, and what happens to points before putting in money or time.
