A fake Bankless recruiter used an imitation domain to offer me a Web3 engineering job

Someone claiming to represent Bankless contacted me about a Web3 engineering position involving smart contracts, dApps and blockchain security work.

The offer promised between $8,000 and $20,000 per month, plus a possible future allocation. However, there was no public job listing and the recruiter repeatedly avoided confirming whether the employer was Bankless, BanklessDAO or another entity.

Communication used a bankless.studio address and later attempted to move me toward an imitation KakaoTalk environment. The branding looked convincing, but the hiring organization and recruiter identity could not be independently verified.
