I was contacted on LinkedIn by people posing as a Web3 company looking for a freelancer. After a realistic interview lasting around 15 to 20 minutes, they tried to get me to clone and run a repository.
The repository at togetherlabsgamespace/palooza-poker contained what I believed was a password-stealing backdoor. I am posting this because a fake job process can be used to trick developers into running malware that puts their wallets and other accounts at risk.
