Main Report
I applied for a community moderator role promoted by an account calling itself Orakuru. The contact looked convincing: there was a normal conversation, a Google Meet call that I created myself, and even a real $100 USDT pre-payment sent to my wallet.
The warning came during a supposed payment-verification step. I was pushed to a confirmation page that led to a fake human-verification screen instructing me to open Terminal, paste a command, and run it. I recognised this as a ClickFix malware attempt and refused.
Do not assume an upfront crypto payment proves that a job offer is real. I returned the USDT and ended contact. Be especially cautious if an employer asks you to open Terminal, paste commands, share your screen, or install software during onboarding.
