event-x.cc used a free $1,000 promo to make a crypto platform look credible

I found accounts promoting event-x.cc with a promo code for a supposedly free $1,000. The site presented predictive markets and withdrawal features in a way that made it appear normal at first glance.

The offer still felt wrong because the bonus was the main reason people were being directed to the platform, rather than any clear explanation of who operates it or how funds are protected.

I did not fund the account. I am logging this warning because promotional balances can be used to draw users into a deposit-before-withdrawal setup.
