Weatherbot worked for one day before my wallet was drained

I tested weatherbot.fi with a small amount because it was connected to prediction markets, but the site asked for a private key, which should have stopped me immediately.

The bot appeared to work normally for about a day. Then it stopped and started pushing a minimum recommended fund amount of $1,500. I did not add that amount, but after some time the connected wallet was drained automatically.

Another user trying to withdraw funds saw the same kind of drain. My warning is to never give private keys to bots, especially ones that run briefly and then push larger funding requirements.
