Cryptojapan.org was presented to my friend as a crypto trading platform, but I could not verify it

A friend of mine became involved with crypto trading through cryptojapan.org and was reluctant to consider that something might be wrong.

I tried to find enough reliable information to establish whether the platform was legitimate before encouraging them to continue. The concern was not based on one completed transaction; it was that the service had been accepted without a clear independent verification of who runs it or whether users can safely access their funds.
