About $15,000 was drained from my Crypto.com account in under three minutes. The person converted the holdings to ETH, added a wallet, and withdrew it before I could stop the activity.
I filed a report and the case is being investigated, but the speed of the loss has been devastating. I did not expect a complete account emptying to happen so quickly.
Watch for new wallet additions and conversion activity as closely as withdrawals. I hope my report helps someone react sooner if they see an unfamiliar account change.
