I was approached by a representative on social media who claimed to be an investment advisor with an exclusive wealth management division. They gave me a highly sophisticated pitch regarding private equity options and directed me to clear an account portal online.

The entire setup looked completely legit, right down to copying specific corporate registration numbers and logos from a major regulated financial institution to make investors feel safe. I transferred over a test deposit of £2,500 using Bitcoin.

Everything seemed normal until I tried to execute a small withdrawal test to see how fast the funds would clear back to my wallet. The dashboard system immediately hit me with an automated restriction and completely locked my login profile under the guise of an unverified IP address.

Financial watchdogs just put out a massive warning explicitly flagging them as an unauthorized clone firm that is actively stealing deposits under a fake brand identity. Do not send these operators a single dollar, they are completely fraudulent.
