I transferred money through a crypto service connected to Nexoofice after seeing what appeared to be reassuring app-store reviews and online discussion. I had first tested a smaller transfer successfully.
After I sent $2,000, my account was disabled and I received a notice saying I had violated policies. I had no warning and no practical way to reverse the transfer.
I later learned my bank had listed the service as fraudulent. A successful small test withdrawal did not protect me once I sent a larger amount.
