FICDX Elite CA used the Fidelity name in a WhatsApp group and pushed crypto deposits

I am warning people about a WhatsApp group using the Fidelity Investments name together with FICDX ELITE CA.

The setup looked suspicious because crypto was being used for deposits, which is not how I would expect a legitimate Fidelity investment channel to operate. Once an investment group moves into WhatsApp and asks for crypto funding, the normal protections and verification steps disappear.

I would not send crypto to any WhatsApp group claiming to be connected to Fidelity, FICDX, or an elite investment program unless the contact can be verified directly through Fidelity’s official channels.
