Main Report
I met a man on Tinder who appeared supportive and attentive. After several weeks, he introduced cryptocurrency trading through a platform later identified as tethermexm.com.
I initially invested €1,000 and was allowed to withdraw approximately €500 in profit. That successful test mattered: it convinced me that the platform and the person helping me were genuine. I then deposited €15,000 when he described the timing as an exceptional opportunity.
The account eventually showed approximately €100,000. When I requested it, the platform demanded taxes. I paid, but more charges followed. My real loss ultimately reached about €55,000, leaving me in debt and affecting my health.
I reported the matter to Tinder, the cryptocurrency services and local police. The person was later associated with another rotating address, tetherex-marts.com. The early €500 was not evidence of a sustainable investment; it was the most effective part of the deception.
