I used ddefi.cc believing it was a decentralised crypto platform. When I tried to withdraw my deposits, I was told that I needed to pay performance fees, taxes, and capital-gains charges first.
Each demand appeared only when I attempted to access my money. I could not see a normal path for taking funds out without making another payment.
I would not treat a DeFi label as proof of legitimacy. A service that asks for new transfers to release an existing balance should be approached with extreme caution.
