Main Report
I came across Throgmorton Wealth Consultant and stopped before treating the contact as a normal financial-services approach. The name sounded credible, which made checking the details more important than relying on the branding alone.
The FCA warning lists www.throgmortonwealth.com and says the people behind it have been contacting people while pretending to be authorised firms. It identifies THROGMORTON FINANCIAL ADVICE LIMITED and HDH Investment Services Limited as genuine firms with no connection to the clone.
The FCA says customers who deal with this clone will not have Financial Ombudsman Service access or FSCS protection if things go wrong. I would not send money, identification, or respond using supplied contact details; I would verify any firm through the FCA Firm Checker.
