Unitrade made review tasks look profitable until it demanded tax money before payout

I was contacted on Facebook about earning money for product reviews and was told it was connected to Snagshout.

The work later turned into a site called Unitrade, where I had to complete 40 review tasks a day. If a task created a negative balance, I had to recharge the account with cryptocurrency before I could continue. The platform made it look like I would get my principal back plus profit at the end.

After I paid almost $3,000 into the system, the payout was stopped. They said I had to pay taxes before the money could be released. That made the review job feel like a crypto payment trap.
